Amy Treat is Partner and Chief Operating Officer of StoneRidge Wealth Management.
Amy Treat joined StoneRidge Wealth Management in 2003, when the firm operated as Mason Financial Group. As a key member of the leadership team, she has played an instrumental role in the firm's growth from a solo advisory practice into one of the leading independent wealth management firms in the greater Portland area, managing more than $600 million in brokerage and advisory assets as of June 2026.
As Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Amy oversees the firm's operations, including compliance, financial management, client service, marketing, and administrative support. She leads the operations team and works closely with advisors to ensure an exceptional client experience and efficient business operations.
In recent years, Amy has transitioned many day-to-day operational responsibilities to her management team, allowing her to dedicate more time to working directly with clients and supporting portfolio management efforts.
Amy has earned recognition within LPL Financial for her innovative marketing initiatives and operational leadership. Her expertise in practice management, client service, and business operations has led to invitations to present at multiple LPL Financial national conferences, where she has shared best practices with fellow advisors and operations professionals.
Amy and Van were inspired by Amy’s son Riley, and developed the concept of a charity for low income children with serious hearing deficiencies. Amy implemented the program, including the formal fundraising launch of “The StoneRidge Foundation” at the Portland Art Museum on Valentine’s Day, 2008. In June 2009, Amy and Van received the 2008-2009 Partners in Education Award from the Northwest Regional Education Services Department. By 2013, their StoneRidge Foundation had funded more than 78 low income school age children for hearing aids and services. In September 2013, The StoneRidge Foundation was nominated for its work in the community and Amy and Van were featured in the “Investment News” magazine. Amy represented StoneRidge at the “Invest In Others” gala awards ceremony in New York, and was presented with a national award for her outstanding contribution.
Outside the office, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends and is her children's biggest cheerleader as they pursue their goals and adventures. She loves traveling, boating with her family, photography, and creating experiences that bring joy to others. Nothing makes her happier than seeing the smiles that come from a day well spent with the people she cares about.
As a breast cancer survivor, Amy embraces a "Carpe Diem" philosophy and believes life is meant to be lived fully. She values making memories, seizing opportunities, and enjoying the journey along the way. Her personal motto? Life is short—sometimes you should just "buy the shoes."
