Associate Financial Advisor

StoneRidge Wealth Management

Who We Are

At StoneRidge Wealth Management, we believe financial planning is deeply personal. We build long-term, multi-generational relationships by guiding our clients through life’s milestones with clarity, care, and confidence. Our team operates with shared values—trust, collaboration, and a commitment to doing what’s right.

As we grow with intention, we are looking for an Associate Financial Advisor who is excited to work directly with clients, build meaningful relationships, and develop into a long-term leader within our firm.

The Role

The Associate Financial Advisor is a client-facing role focused on building trusted relationships and delivering thoughtful, personalized financial planning. You will work directly with clients to understand their goals, develop and implement financial strategies, and help them navigate decisions over time.

While collaboration with senior advisors and the Investment Committee is an important part of the role, this role is designed to give you increasing ownership of client relationships, meeting leadership, and planning strategy as your experience grows. This position is ideal for an advisor who values connection, long-term impact, and professional growth.

What You’ll Do

Client Relationships & Engagement

● Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust through proactive communication and ongoing guidance.
● Develop deep understanding of clients’ financial lives, family dynamics, and long-term goals.
● Lead and participate in client meetings, providing updates, education, and recommendations aligned with each client’s plan.
● Anticipate client needs and life changes, ensuring plans evolve as circumstances change.
● Follow up on planning and investment action items to ensure smooth implementation and a seamless client experience.

Financial Planning & Strategy

● Design, implement, and update comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client.
● Model planning scenarios and evaluate financial decisions to support client conversations.
● Guide new clients through the discovery process and initial financial plan development.
● Create custom analyses to address client questions and complex financial situations.

Investment & Portfolio Management

● Support portfolio construction and ongoing management in collaboration with senior advisors and the Investment Committee.
● Perform asset allocation analysis and investment research for new and existing clients.
● Assist with portfolio rebalancing, trading, and cash management activities.
● Review portfolio performance and help clients understand results in the context of their goals.

Collaboration & Firm Growth

● Partner closely with Client Service Associates to ensure timely and accurate account administration and implementation.
● Contribute to business development efforts, including client events, educational programs, and content creation.
● Participate in mentoring and training initiatives as the firm continues to grow.
● Work collaboratively in a team environment with a shared commitment to excellence and client service.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

relationships—and that includes relationships within our team.

A relationship-first culture

You’ll spend your time doing meaningful work with real clients, not just preparing behind-the-scenes materials.

Ownership and growth

This role is designed for advisors who want responsibility, not just support tasks. You’ll grow into leading meetings, managing relationships, and shaping client strategy.

Mentorship without micromanagement

You’ll learn from experienced advisors while being trusted to build your own voice and style.

A firm built for the long term

We are intentionally developing the next generation of StoneRidge advisors and leaders.

A supportive, professional environment

We value excellence, integrity, and accountability—balanced with empathy, flexibility, and respect.
